was £45 A lovely example of quality vintage candlesticks from c. 1950s. The pair each hold 3 candles. I am not sure what the metal is but IANTHE, the maker's, were famous for plated items so I think brass is plated together with teak on the bases of the holders. A fabulous deisgn with ball features & scalloped detailing around the circumference of the base & candle holders. The candle holders unscrew (please see penultimate photo) for easy storage & cleaning indicative of quality manufacture of yesteryear. They are in VG condition for age - some wear to plate. Appx. dimensions: height 13 cm; diameter of bases: also 9 cm; & width 19 cm.
