This is an unusual trough come planter the likes of which I have seen before but not as often as the usual round & oval galvanised. This particular trough was purchased in the UK but may have its origins in another european country. It is water tight. However if you are using for plants I would recommend several more holes to be drilled. I can do this for you if you wish. Please request when ordering. No extra charge for this. Solid construction it will make for an ideal garden planter. Would be a wonderful herb garden planter as well as great for vegetables & bedding plants. Quite deep plenty of room for the roots The trough is a very generous 23 cm tall & is a large 115 cm long & 50 cm wide give or take the off cm Along the length of the trough inside the two edges there are two poles of wood (not visible) which gives the trough strength. Shipping prices for large items have gone up in the last few months & due to the extra large size of this item shipping charge is £18.50. It is a substantial item & will take some shipping. Any thing that will fit inside the bath/Trough can be shipped at the same price as long as the total weight does not go over 30kg One of a few galvanised items in the shop all making for useful & practical re-purposed garden items. With a little clean there is no reason the items could not be used as storage in & around the house. SHIPPING Please be aware that in some cases I can offer large shipping discounts for certain items & combination of items. For example if buying a suitcase or wooden box any smaller items that will fit into the larger can usually be shipped at a nominal fee.
