A stunning & very useful Storage Ottoman. Perfect for use in the living room as a coffee table or for a more traditional use in the bedroom as a blanket box. Lovely carved detail to the front panels & a hinged lid. Originally the ottoman was a redwood finish which looked a little dated. I decided to update the piece by giving it an aged lead/zinc like finish. To create this, I first cleaned thoroughly with sugar soap & warm soapy water. Next, I applied Slick Stik primer by Dixie Belle to improve adhesion of the paint. Next, I applied two coats of Liquorice black by Shabby Chic paint. I then lightened some of the black with Antique White & blended the grey with the black to achieve the aged look on the panels, sides & top. Finally, to seal, I applied two coats of Polyvine flat matte varnish. The inside was left natural. DELIVERY Delivery costs vary according to distance & item specifics.
