A fantastic American stepback cupboard which dates to the early to mid 1800s. The cupboard is one solid piece, made of thick pine & is very heavy & well made with four lift off panelled doors to the front which are set on handmade pewter Rat Tail hinges. The cupboard has its original blue casein paint(milk paint) finish which has worn well over the years & has a low sheen waxed finish CONDITION The dresser is in generally good structural condition with various marks of age & use to the wood. The door locks are missing & the shelves are later replacements, made from Victorian pine. Basically it is well aged & rustic but rather smashing. MEASUREMENTS height - 202cms width - 130cms at the top, 117cms at the base depth - 48.5cms The delivery service is usually a one man ground floor service.
