This is just gorgeous estate piece! Beautiful Antique Victorian Napkin Ring .. a very unusual piece.. I received a large collection of fabulous collectible pieces, from an estate of collector.. She has some of the most beautiful pieces. I have more from this estate to list, so please keep checking back. Figural napkin rings & figural toothpick holders were popular mainly in the USA & in other places of the world during the period 1860-1910. Napkin Rings were a necessary item for each person to have to identify their cloth napkin which would only be washed once a week. Paper napkins hadn't been invented then. The color & detail is just fabulous! It is in original found condition with very nice patina.. I did not polish it I will leave that to the buyer if they want to . It is silver plate, & reflected colors from the window & camera, & is not a condition issue. It is in beautiful condition. Please study the photos, for they are the best description..
