This is a vintage retro porcelain creamer from Tettau Royal Privilege Porcelain Factory Kniglich Privilegierte Porzellanfabrik Tettau, Schmidt & Greiner was founded in 1794 with the permission of the Prussian king Friedrich Wilhelm II. Alexander von Humboldt himself advocated its creation. The founders were Johann Friedrich Paul Schmidt, Wilhelm Heinrich Immanuel Greiner & Georg Christian Friedman Greiner. The Greiner family ran the business until 1852. Ferdinand Klaus took over the factory in 1852. From 1866 to 1879 it belonged to Wilhelm Sontag & Karl Birkner. in 1879, Ludwig Meisel replaced Karl Birkner in retirement. The name was changed to Porzellanmanufaktur Tettau, Sontag & Maisel.
