A lovely smaller sized & beautifully shaped original 30s Art Deco Mirror which hangs a s landscape shape, with a faceted edges which catch the light brightening any room. It has decorative shaped clips with a simple floral Fleur de Lys (lily flower) motif which is rare to find on these mirrors. Fleur de Lys - The symbol itself signifies life, enlightenment, & excellence - three things that are often associated with lilies in general. Fleur de lys predominantly means perfection, purity, & courage but is also used in a variety of different contexts. This would make an amazing addition to a collection for multi display purposes or would look good singularly as a statement piece. Measures: 56cm L x 32.5cm H x 2cm (approx at widest point It is small enough for bathroom spaces & to hang as a group. Circa: 60s, this is a later piece which has been refurbished in a 30/40s style. Condition: This is a vintage piece so shows signs of wear, some light tarnish to clips & chain which has a matt nickel finish. It comes complete with original chain. Some light surface scratches as with age/use only visible in certain lights. Aging marks present along the edges of the mirror are throughout the edges & middle of the glass (which I've tried to capture) however overall this mirror is great shape. It has clips which have a tiny amount of wear & oxidisation commensurate with age however the details are still crisp & overall is matt nickel in colour. It has a brand NEW wooden back, which is great if you have expensive wallpaper as often these are old & can be tricky to mount. Otherwise a beautifully shaped piece. Ready to hang!
