Soapstone Tea Light Heart candle holder. These soapstone candle holders were hand carved by skillful artisans in small villages close to Nairobi, Kenya. The stone, locally known as Kisii, is named after the Kisii Tribe who live near the Tabaka Hills in Western Kenya. The Kenyan soapstone has been domestically used for centuries for sculptures & ritual items.
