An interlay charming miniature apprentice piece of the most divine size made of mahogany with a lovely aged old wood patina with original wooden hand turned knobs , three drawers ,bracket feet & subtle scalloped sides completely a very pleasing composition. I just adore apprentice pieces of all shapes & sizes but when I see a tiny antique one of these small proportions I just have to have it .The simplified elegance never goes out of fashion & just adds to its charm . The miniature is in good condition for its age with wear commensurate with age There are the odd scratches & marks & repair here & there & in the drawers , & a tiny bit of wood missing on one side panel on the right hand side by the back but that all adds up to its charm & history & there is nothing which diminishes its decorative qualities. A brilliant little miniature to place on a drawing or study table with other pretty things or bookcase & even on a guest room chest of drawers to bring that whimsical & eclectic English style into your home .
