Vintage 1940s-60s Newmaid Tableware Picquot Ware Picquot Ware is made of 'Magnalium', an aluminum alloy, & wooden handles are made from Sycamore. Designed in 1938, & manufactured by Burrage & Boyd the K3 kettle was initially produced under their 'Newmaid' name, before being re-branded as 'Picquot ware ' when post-war production was stepped up & the range increased to include full tea sets. Priced as individual pieces or set (full set would include tray & sugar bowl) in great vintage shape for their age, some discoloring on interior, & creamer is slightly more scuffed than the pots. Handle on teapot shows more wear. Newmaid Tableware, Made in England is marked on each. Lovely weight & shape to each piece, simply perfect for a Mcm kitchen.
