The front all-cotton fabric is hand manipulated using a range or techniques & colored using natural dyes. This exact fabric can never be duplicated. The back of the pillow is constructed from a luxurious, medium weight, linen, hemp, & cotton fabric with corduroy type ridges & a wonderful hand feel. The color is a neutral unbleached mottled beige with slight color variations from the natural fibers. This fabric can have naturally occurring ripples & eddies adding to the country-rustic feel. An interlining/fusing has been applied to the rear-side of both the front & back fabrics to maintain fabric integrity & smashing good looks, & a top-of-the-line, YKK-zipper has been chosen for the fill opening to add strength & durability. in addition, all fabric joints have been serged/overlocked to properly seal the edges, prevent fraying, & provide a crisp, clean finish. The cotton in these pillow cases is colored using natural, organic, vegetable dyes. This is a more expensive & time-consuming process than using chemical dyes but results in the enchanting character & soft hues of the colors you see in the photos.
