Chinese Wall Art Nanjing Style Brocade Scroll Ink Painting Large Horizontal Hanging Scroll 85cm x 208cm in original box. Vintage from the 1970s. Beautifully painted or printed in vivid coloured inks & mounted on brocade, ready to enjoy either as a scroll or as wall art by hanging (fixing 'ears' provided). This is one of ten large scrolls we have acquired, all different large sizes & subjects, all being sold at the same price. Subject is The Eight Horses on a brown brocade fabric. Measures approx 85cm x 208cm. Excellent unused condition, a beautiful example of traditional Chinese crafts & culture. Use as a scroll, & let the painting unroll in front of you & your friends, or mount as a hanging by using the fixing ears along the top edge. The Ear is made of the same brocade. The scroll is made with ties on both ends. These can be used to fix the left & right ends of the scroll & achieve a flat finish.
