A simply stunning set of drawers dating from the 1960’s & of Alfred Cox design. These drawers were designed by Alfred Cox, produced by hand & sold by Heal’s. They are finished in a beautiful walnut grain & would have originally been sold as a dressing table. With the stunning design & finish they now offer, they could be used as a sideboard/ console table/ dressing table or TV Stand. We have the original mirror & side supports should you wish to make the drawers back in to a dressing table. See the last photograph for an image of the mirror attached to a similar chest of Alfred Cox designed drawers. The mirror has some slight foxing to the edges but no chips or scratches. There are two very minor ‘dings’ to the edge of the drawers. Please see photographs for close ups. The drawers are in excellent original condition & quite exceptional for their age. They are of solid construction with 6 stunning drawers, offering plenty of storage & completed with their original wooden turned handles. The drawers sit on their original splayed legs & the whole frame is of solid wood construction. The original Alfred Cox (AC) label is present & fully in tact on the inside of the top right hand drawer, to prove its authenticity.
