This is a fine antique Late Victorian Stirling Silver English mustard pot crafted by The Alexander Clark Manufacturing Co & is dated 1900. It retains original hallmarks on both the base of the mustard pot & the lid. The body is of an octagonal form & is embellished with pierced interlacing columns with floral accented motifs & is fitted with a removable thick original cobalt blue glass interior liner. The upper & lower rim of this English Sterling silver mustard pot is ornamented with a polished raised border. The hinged cover has an impressive dome with shell motif decorated thumb piece.
