An Egyptian scarab beetle reaches forward with a resurrection cup of tea. The design is on both sides on this OOAK ceramic stoneware tea mug. The wide comfortable handle features a skeleton, as does the interior. This piece of originally designed art holds an extra large 21 oz. It's loaded with details & ready to bring a beautiful resurrection to your tea break with a slot designed especially for a tea bag string (works great as a coffee mug, too!). -Created from white sandy Northern California clay, individually hand formed, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning! -Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability & ease of use & cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed & feature our maker's mark. -Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted & no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques & shapes.
