Here are two vintage brass vases. Neither are marked with a country of origin or a maker so I cannot be sure which country they came from. Most likely either India or China. The chased pattern has been hand done as they vary slightly from each other. Mainly, they show elephants & lions & 1 has people on it as well, but you have to look closely to see the animals. One is also very slightly shorter by 8mm, the pattern on the bases vary slightly too. They stand at 15 cm tall & the opening at the top is 9.5 cm. They are a good gauge of brass which in addition to being heavy for their size (over 1 kilo each) it also means they are thicker so less likely to get dented.
