The pearlescent range is painted in black ceramic paint, fired to 1000 degrees, painted with mother of pearl & refired to 850 degrees. This gives off a random petrol effect on the outside of the bowl, i do my best to cover as much as the outside as possible but it is random & not all bowls will be the same.
