This is a ceramics vase/utensil holder thrown off the wheel While clay was still soft, it was hand pinched to give it a more organic & free look. It's shape is also altered, as I'm trying to explore creating pieces following clay's natural movement 5x4 inches During the glazing process, trapped glaze created very interesting surface texture & color. This piece could be used as a vase, or in the kitchen for utensil storage! As a pencil holder, it still looks beautiful! Or even great for holding toothbrush/toothpaste! This is the first Time i'm experimenting this combination of texture & shape, I enjoy the simplicity of the shape with it's subtle texture.
