Description: A glorious vintage bow fronted Art Deco glass china / display cabinet standing on cabriole legs with iconic mirrored gold detailing on the front glass panel. Dating probably from the 1930's this elegant cabinet has two lockable doors & two glass shelves & is in very good order with the original locks & key still working. I have cleaned & polished the gorgeous original brass lock escutcheons by hand to make them gleam! The cabinet has been carefully sanded, restored & hand painted externally in Little Greene's gorgeous timeless deep 'Jewel Beetle' Intelligent Eggshell & internally I've lined the back with a stunning opulent Rainforest velvet. This piece would be a fabulous statement addition to a hallway, dining room, landing or any contemporary room as a display cabinet, china cabinet or drinks cabinet. Condition: This piece is in excellent clean & tidy condition with no major damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents & previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage & antique pieces & adds to their character. The doors unlock easily with the original key & they open & close with ease, & the glass has been fully cleaned. in terms of the finish, I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces & call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration & preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed & undercoated before painting a minimum of four coats & a lacquer to protect high traffic surfaces.
