The carbon frame utilises their sport geometry for all-day efficiency, and is made with filament wound carbon fibre that offers both comfort and stiffness. The frame and fork have sufficient clearance for 28mm tyres and have thru-axles to maximise the advantages of disc braking. Roval?s CL 50 Disc Carbon wheels provide a good compromise between aerodynamic performance, weight and handling, with Continental?s lauded GP5000 tyres offering sure-footed grip and low rolling resistance. The groupset is courtesy of Shimano in the form of electronic Ultegra Di2, with the lightest touch of the levers producing pinpoint accurate shifts front and rear, even under extreme pressure. Braking is equally impressive from the Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes which work brilliantly in the wet and dry, instilling greater cornering confidence and hence greater speed.
