Also known as Blue fescue, this hardy perennial is an undemanding and easy to grow evergreen plant that is perfect for patio pots, borders and rockeries. The grassy leaves are an unusual shade of cobalt blue, providing interest throughout the year. A tufted, clump-forming habit that stays compact at just 30cm tall, and can be mixed with bedding plants, herbaceous perennials or planted into rockeries or into gravel gardens. This specimen is an excellent plant for designing in the garden, thanks to its architectural appearance. Due to its smaller compact nature will not take over. Position in full sun in moderately fertile soil that is well-drained in order to thrive. Requires very little if any maintenance and even bares brilliant pest and disease resistant traits.
