Stylish floor lamp Rituals by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba 13 minutes - that's how long it takes to give the shade of the Rituals floor lamp its unusual shape, reminiscent of a beehive. In an elaborate process, the glass is first mouth-blown and then decorated by hand with a pattern of irregularly arranged grooves. The resulting pattern makes the lamp appear very delicate, as if it were made of fine rice paper. In addition, the textured surface helps to dampen the light, creating cosy moments of light. The elegant and timeless luminaire complements the most diverse room concepts and represents an artistic highlight in any living room. Rituals is part of a series of lamps by the Venetian manufacturer Foscarini and another innovative design by the couple Ludovica and Roberto Palomba. With their creations they aim to create a direct dialogue between the product and the user. The designers founded their studio in Milan in 1994 and are active not only in product design, but also in architecture, interior design and as art directors.
