Fox Racing Rampage Pro Carbon MTB Helmet
Description
Confidence Inspiring Protection Hitting the fastest DH lines and tackling the biggest booters takes confidence, both in yourself and your equipment and this is especially true of the kit that will have you covered should it all go a bit wrong. This is why Fox's new Rampage Pro Carbon Helmet is packed with protective technology, the most significant of these being the MVRS (Magnetic Visor Release System) + FLUID dual-rotational management system. The Fluid sees a low viscosity, non-compressible oil inside an engineered closed-cell foam which mimics your body's natural cerebral spinal fluid to manage both linear and rotational impact energy; sounds complicated but it boosts head protection to whole new levels. In the event of a crash, the Visor will also break-away easily, preventing extra forces being applied to your head, lessening the chance of head and neck injury. But that's not all, the MCT (Multi Composite Technology) outer shell construction is extremely tough for a long life and this is paired with energy-absorbing in-mould Varizorb™ EPS to spread impact forces widely while keeping the weight low. The chinbar/eye port CAGE™ improves energy management in the event you eat dirt. No other helmet comes close to the Beast. Tough by Nature, a Softy at Heart While burly protection is top of the list, don't for a second think Fox have neglected comfort, not a bit of it. The 3 shells and 4 EPS sizes offer up the very best in class when it comes to fit and mesh vent screens keep fresh air flowing, keeping you cool even during the toughest of downhill runs. No matter how much air you get you're still bound to get a bit sweaty but the removable Dri-Lex comfort liner wicks sweat away from the skin to leave you dry and it's antimicrobial with odour control too, so no stinky, itchy head for you after a fun day on the hill. The Rampage Pro Carbon Helmet has been designed with direct input from Fox's elite downhill and freeride mountain bike athletes, and you can tell. It's the flagship of the range and offers the very best protection levels so you can rip downhills with incredible confidence. Let's go ride. FIT New streamlined fit: The minimum offset design (M.O.D.) allows a closer more precise fit. The result is a streamlined profile which reduces the overall size of the helmet without sacrificing performance or safety. Note: When you first put on your new RPC, it will fit snugly and may even feel a bit too tight. With time, the helmet will adapt to your head, “break-in”, and loosen a little. If you are at the top end of a size, we advise going up a size from the size chart.
