The discreetly designed, sturdy frame provides the necessary support for the floor lamp, which can be easily combined with other colours, while the conical metal lampshade is painted white on the inside to ensure optimum light reflection. The design of the complete Lyss range, which includes table, wall and floor lamps, was created by Toni Rie, head of the creative department at the Danish manufacturer Frandsen. When designing the Lyss floor lamp, she focussed on minimalism paired with high functionality, thus following the Tradition of Danish design. Equipped with a foot switch on the cable for convenient operation.
