Fritz Hansen Clam hanging light Ø 44 cm
Description
Design pendant lamp Clam with pull apart glass shade An absolute highlight for the contemporary living and dining area is the fascinatingly designed pendant lamp Clam, whose appearance is reminiscent of a shell. Its shade consists of two halves that have been mouth-blown from opal glass. Fittings made of brushed brass provide visual variety as well as for the pulling apart and pushing together of the two halves of the shade. The size of the opening can be individually determined. The opening provides a view of the light source, which practically functions as a "pearl in a shell". Clam produces an appealing ambient lighting that creates a very atmospheric ambience. With Clam, the duo Ahm & Lund, consisting of the designer Isabel Ahm and the carpenter Signe Lund, have succeeded in creating a fantastic piece that beautifully lives up to their premise of creating aesthetic and durable design. Note: Each lampshade is unique, so deviations in the thickness of the material or in the structure, for example small air bubbles, do not represent a defect, but emphasize the uniqueness of the shade. The Clam pendant lamp is manufactured by the traditional Danish company Fritz Hansen.
