Description
Offering supreme image quality, the 5th incarnation of Fuji's renowned X-series cameras, the X-T5, features an upgraded, faster processor, and a 40.2 megapixel sensor for a staggering level of detail. Retaining the classic design of the series, tactile dials predominate, making key functions such as ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation brilliantly quick and easy to adjust. It's actually smaller and lighter than the X-T4, while boasting a vari-angle touch-screen, faster processing, and improved battery life. 40.2MP APS-C sensor The fifth generation X-Trans CMOS 5 sensor boasts a huge 40.2 megapixels for an APS-C sensor. And with sensitivity of ISO125 now available, it's great for shooting outdoors, and in low light. Subject-detection autofocus In addition to providing superb AF tracking and detection for human faces and eyes, X-T5 can also automatically detect and track a broad range of subjects, including animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, and trains. So you can concentrate on composition and creativity, and confidently leave the tracking to the camera. Up to 6.2K resolution for stunning movies Movies can be recorded internally at up to 6.2K/30p in 4:2:2 10-bit colour, plus there's a 4K HQ mode which oversamples 6.2K footage for superior 4K output. This higher video resolution unlocks 2x digital zoom functionality, providing additional in-camera versatility without a noticeable drop in quality. X Processor 5 Bringing advanced imaging technologies to the X series, the fifth generation X Processor delivers twice the processing speed of the previous generation, subject-detection AF which is built using Deep-Learning AI Technology, while reduced power consumption translates to better battery life too. Durable design Its compact, weather-sealed body is moisture-resistant, capable of working in temperatures down to minus 10 degrees celsius. Tactile dials on the top panel and an ergonomic grip allow you to hold the camera comfortably and steadily, even when using larger telephoto lenses. A large-capacity battery allows for extended hours of shooting. High resolution viewfinder The X-T5 features a 3.69-million-dot high resolution EVF with a high magnification ratio of 0.80x. It's centrally positioned for a sense of optimum stability when shooting. Touch screen Adjust settings and line up the perfect framed shot with its intuitive rear touch screen, which tilts in three directions so you can find just the right angle. Versatile lens It's supplied with a versatile 18-55mm zoom lens with maximum aperture f2.8 and a broad focal length ranging from 27mm wide angle to 84mm telephoto (35mm format equivalent), together with image stabilisation for crisp imagery in any shooting environment. Retro styles With Film Simulation, you can choose from classic Fujifilm photo styles, and give your pictures varied colour and tone to suit the subject, just like pros did with film. There's standard PROVIA, vivid Velvia, and ASTIA with its true-to-life skin tones; PRO Neg.Std and PRO Neg.Hi, which are portrait modes based on professional colour negative film; and Monochrome expression with three different filter effects as well as Sepia. ETERNA Bleach Bypass This new Film Simulation mode gives a more artistic look, with reduced saturation and increased contrast. Smart phone control With the dedicated "FUJIFILM Camera Remote" app, you can focus and trigger the camera release from your smart phone or tablet. The app not only lets you adjust focus, but also control settings like shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation and ISO sensitivity. Feeling Creative? One of the biggest advantages of this camera is the sheer shooting flexibility on offer. You can use additional lenses to take wide-angle, telephoto, or close-up shots to suit just about any situation. The shorter the focal length (measured in mm), the wider the view will be - the longer the focal length, the more telescopic the picture.
