Everybody needs a gold chain. And this is one fabulous gold chain! It’s large, long oval links are fastened with a gold circlet, onto which you can add any pendant. The metal is recycled brass with one micron of recycled 18k gold vermeil, so the gold should last well. The reason we use brass for some of our necklaces is that should the gold vermeil begin to wear off, it will not show nearly so much on brass as it would on silver. Also, it is much more affordable in brass. What do people love about this chain? It's so bold and glmaorous. All gold vermeil will eventually wear off, and the more often it is worn, the more quickly this will happen, especially in the places where it comes in contact with the skin. However as this piece has one full micron of 18k gold vermeil, this should last well.
