Gem Bazaar has designed this ring before with a different gemstone and it was a sell out, so now it is back, but this time with the most stunning blue quartz cabochon stone. The blue quartz stone is large and held in place by four claws, with two decorative side panels, each comprising a white topaz baguette and four small round white topaz stones. These set up the central gemstone to perfection. The metal is recycled .925 sterling silver with two and a half microns of recycled 18k gold vermeil, so the gold should last well. What do people love about this ring? It has to be the incredible colour of the blue quartz gemstone, which is interestingly mottled yet a stunning strong cornflower blue. This is a statement ring. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth, or wash gently in warm soapy water. As with all gemstone jewellery, care should be taken not to knock or drop the item, as a gemstone may be damaged or fall out. All gold vermeil will eventually wear off, and the more often it is worn, the more quickly this will happen, especially in the places where it comes in contact with the skin. But as this piece has 2. 5 microns of 18k gold vermeil, this should last a long time.
