Its vigorous, mounding growing habit makes it a great choice to fill in mixed borders. The double, pale lilac blooms and finely, cut foliage flowers from May to June, and then rewards with a second flurry of flowers in late Summer. ‘Cloud Nine’ is also disease resistant, and is even rarely damaged by slugs, snails and rabbits. Pot up hardy geranium plugs and grow them on in frost free conditions. When plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Plant hardy geraniums in any well drained soil, in sun or shade.
