The synthetic upper is light in weight but also durable enough to take on the demands of regular riding. You'll also find the upper is great in warm weather, with mesh zones allowing your feet to breathe as temperatures rise. For fit adjustment, Giro gives you their three-strap design. This gives you a quick and easy adjustment on or off the bike, they're light too and there are no working parts to let you down or get damaged on your all-terrain biking adventures. The Nylon sole balances efficient power transfer with comfort, stiff enough to get you up to speed quickly but with some give to ensure comfort over rougher terrain. Speaking of rough terrain, the co-moulded rubber tread lets you get traction on all types of terrain - whether that's scrambling over a rocky trail section on foot or grabbing a mid-ride coffee at a cafe stop. And with the 2-bolt cleat compatibility, you can use double-sided MTB style pedals, offering you a level of versatility not possible with road-style pedal systems. Cleat Guidance These shoes are compatible with MTB pedal systems, which use the 2-bolt cleat standard (SPD standard), e.g.: Shimano SPD, Time ATAC, CrankBrothers, CrankBrothers Race, Look MTB, Xtreme MTB, Wellgo MTB, Ritchey MTB. Also suitable for indoor trainers in gyms etc.
