BOBBY is part of our Premium line of essential hand-made shoes and boots. They are made in Italy by a family-owned "Atelier" based in the Marche Region, between the sea and the hills.These shoes are entirely assembled and stitched by hand. The BOBBY are high-quality shoes that are meant to last and be durable. The BOBBY welt is stitched to the upper and uses a cemented construction. A 'cemented construction' means the welt is stitched, and the sole is then cemented or strongly "glued" to the welt and heat-sealed. This technique is extra-strong and durable.The BOBBY Tyrolean shoes are extra comfortable; we use a soft and resistant upper microfiber; you can wear them all day at work or to go out and have that timeless, stylish workwear look but 100% vegan.BOBBY exists in BLACK Vegan leather and BROWN Bio-based material.Our microfiber upper uses a non-woven technology and is 100% vegan and V- label (Vegan certified)The lining is plant-based, made from Corn, and V-label (Vegan certified); it's 100% recycled and recyclable. In short, they are a bit roomier and super comfortable.« Our new material is 74% plant-based, thinner than our usual microfiber. The look of the shoes is softer, and when unworn, small pleats might appear on the side due to the softness of this particular material. The small pleats will disappear once the shoes are worn and on your feet. This material is made in Italy and is a dream come true of sustainability and circularity, and we are happy to introduce it to you this season.»Our boxes are made of recycled paper and are 100% biodegradable. With each pair of shoes, you will find in the package a Good Guys cotton bag made in Italy you can use for traveling with your shoes and carrying your precious belongings in your bag in your daily life.We use only one box serving as shoe boxes and shipping boxes to save material and space. We use a 100% compostable mailer bag from Noissue to protect your pair and ship it safely as an alternative to a protective wrapping plastic mailer. Using one box and a 100% compostable mailer is an excellent step towards more sustainable packaging. We recommend to only use products that are meant for microfiber and synthetic Leather. Clean the upper part of your shoes, use a soft brush (or Toothbrush) and brush the shoes gently after the rain or once a month to get the dust and dirt out of them, that will keep them "looking good".Wash separately the removable sole with cold water.
