Vintage carpenter tool chest storage coffee table, sitting on hairpin legs. It's a hand made box, dating from the 1960's - 1970's. Made from a combination of solid wood, ply & with an OSB board top. It's far from pristine, as it was used daily as part of the carpenters' trade. The table oozes rustic vintage charm, with its full history proudly on display, in the various scars that have accumulated over the years. No doubt each bump tells a story. The lid is made from OSB board. It's been partially painted in dark blue & finished with several coats of gloss varnish varnish to aid durability. The Inside & main body have been left largely un-touched, apart from being cleaned & varnished. The compact size is ideal for rooms where space may be at a premium. The table may be small in size, but is big on vintage industrial charm. Measurements are height 48cm x width 67cm x depth 33cm. Legs will be unscrewed to enable safe transit.
