GT Grade Pro Gravel Bike 2021 The GT Grade Pro is a serious gravel bike, delivering the ultimate comfort and control over rough terrain, a lively ride feel and sublime handling. The bike pairs a carbon frame and fork and incorporates GT's signature Triple Triangle™ in which the thin seatstays 'float', unbound by the seat tube and joining directly to the top tube. Glass fibre rods are combined with carbon in the seatstays to create high strength with more flex. The result is incredible compliance with no compromise to the overall weight. A Flip Chip at the fork dropouts shifts the offset between 55mm and 40mm, altering the trail and allowing you to adapt to different types of riding. The geometry is similar to that of an endurance road bike, for all-day comfort. The frameset is paired with Shimano GRX 11-speed components in a 1x configuration. There's a wide 11-42-tooth cassette paired to 42-tooth front ring, helping make light of the climbs, and hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors take care of stopping duties. Flared bars aid control when hitting technical descents. The bike rolls on Stan's NoTubes Crest wheels, fitted with 40mm wide WTB Nano TCS Light tyres for good traction on the looser stuff.
