Description
For almost two centuries, Guerlain has been a story of fragrance and beauty, legacy and creation, daring and exploration, heritage and the future. Our roots enrich the present and inspire the future. With more than 1,100 fragrances created since 1828 by five generations of perfumers, our heritage is unique. The Legendary fragrance collection pays tribute to this exceptional heritage. L'Heure Bleue is part of Guerlain's Legendary fragrance collection. A collection made of emblematic fragrances, composed for more than a century by 5 generations of Perfumers. These mythical pioneer perfumes compose a unique olfactive library, that the Maison Guerlain endeavours to preserve. L'Heure Bleue diffuses its atmosphere at the very moment when the sun disappears beneath the horizon and the sky is painted with night's velvet. L'Heure Bleue Eau de Toilette is an emblematic perfumed creation of the Maison Guerlain. The Guerlain's perfumer celebrates through this fragrance, in the most sensual and ""skin"" way, the moment when ""the night has not found its star yet"". An anthem representing the softness of life and romantism. The sun has set, but night has not yet fallen. It's the suspended hour… The hour when one finally finds oneself in renewed harmony with the world and the light,"" Jacques Guerlain liked to say. He was referring to his favourite moment, when ""the night has not yet found its star"". It was this fleeting sensation that he tried to express in 1912 with L'Heure Bleue. Designed by Georges Chevalier, its iconic “inverted heart” bottle is underscored with graceful scrolls typical of Art Nouveau. Its avant-garde stopper, in the form of a hollowed heart, evokes the delicate romanticism of this perfumery masterpiece and represented a real technical feat at the time. Notes: Floral, Oriental Aromatic notes, bergamot Violet, neroli, tubereuse, rose, carnation notes Iris, tonka beans, benzoin, vanilla
