This means you can enjoy an uninterrupted video shooting experience where a charger is not accessible. With the SMBUS communication system, the lithium-ion battery can be easily paired with RED cameras and SMBUS optimised devices for indicating battery level remotely. Additionally, the battery features built-in short-circuit protection for safeguarding it against power fluctuations while charging. Best of all, the battery is compatible with almost all existing fitting and chargers used during video shoots.
