In winter the bare branches of hamamelis burst into life with large tassel - like flowers. Highly fragrant and golden yellow, a much needed delight in the depths of winter. These statuesque shrubs also have great autumn colour when the leaves turn a glowing orange and yellow. We recommend under planting with hellebores and spring bulbs. Plant in full sun or partial shade in an open but protected site. H&s 4m. Hardy deciduous shrub.
