Description
An exciting and unusual take on the cowslip, Primula veris 'Lime with Orange' bears tight clusters of fragrant, pale yellow flowers with striking orange centres, held on strong, stout stems. The foliage is crinkled, dark green and leathery, forming attractive rosettes which, in mild winters, will remain present all year round. Some of the first flowering plants to bloom each year (March to May), primulas such as 'Lime with Orange' are indispensable for providing early colour and cheer. Perfect for a container display or window box, or jostling among spring flowers in a border, such as muscari, narcissus and viola. Prefers consistently moist, humus-rich soil in full sun to partial shade. H&S: 20cm. Hardy, semi-evergreen perennial.
