Description
The Head Downforce JR helmet has been developed with their race athletes and uses the same features as the adult version. The hard-shell outer is tough and durable, and the dual-density liner increases impact absorption. Changeable adaptor plates make it chin guard compatible (sold separately), and it meets FIS regulations. Construction The plastic hard-shell outer is tough and durable, made for longevity. Internally there is a dual-density EPS foam liner that absorbs energy in the event of an accident. Ventilation Thermal ventilation channels within the foam liner increases air circulation, leading warm air away from the head and outside the helmet. Fit There is no adjustable fit system. Additional Safety Dual Density Core is made using two different densities of EPS foam in the liner.
