Description
Hebe Red Edge is a small evergreen shrub that is best for used for ground cover. With blue-grey leaves this will flower in summer through to autumn. The tubular to salver shaped flowers will start of pale mauve before fading to white. Grow Hebe plants in moist, well drained, light sandy soil. Avoid planting Hebes on acid soils. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade and sheltered from strong winds. Water well after planting. Once established Hebe plants require little maintenance other than an occasional trim after flowering to maintain the shape of the plant.
