The Solar Orthopocket 1500 has extra firm pocket springs and substantial fillings for additional comfort. Its easy to see why its one of our best-selling orthopaedic beds.. Its high in quality and at 27cm deep; its generously filled to provide a supportive and comfortable sleeping surface.. The mattress is upholstered in a quality Belgian damask cover with a hand tufted finish for additional strength and durability. It comes with a 10 year warranty against manufacturing defects. Hand tufting is a process of nylon tapes that pass through the entire mattress at regular intervals and are secured on each side. This pre-tensions the mattress to give it a firmer feel and ensures the layers of fillings stay in place. The mattress has pocket springs 1500 in a standard king size that are totally independent, each in its own fabric pocket so the load on one spring doesnt affect the one next to it. The springs provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body. The result is a spring that directly supports at the point of contact and is not affected by varying weight and body shape. This allows the pocket spring mattress to contour perfectly to your body shape.
