The Tillandsia is adapted to rainforest conditions and grows naturally on trees, which is why they don’t require any soil to grow - they simply absorb nutrients and moisture from the air around them! Position air plants in bright, filtered light with good air circulation, at a minimum temperature of 5C (41F). Water frequently from spring to autumn by immersing the entire plant in rainwater or misting thoroughly. Allow the plant to completely drain and dry after each watering. Feed monthly by adding a small amount of bromeliad fertiliser to misting water.
