Hyacinth 'Pretty in Pink' Mix is a beautiful blend of raspberry, candy-pink and white blooms to create a dazzling display in your beds and borders. The intense perfume fills the air in spring, so plant them where you can appreciate their scent - they’re ideal for window boxes and make an excellent cut flower for the home. When buying bulbs, quality is everything. We always supply flowering-size bulbs, which means you'll grow bigger, better flowers AND there'll be more of them. Supplied as 10x Hardy Bulbs Grow hyacinths in moist, fertile well drained soil in sun or semi shade. Plant hyacinth bulbs approximately 10cm (4") deep and at a distance of 8cm (3") apart To grow hyacinths for indoor displays, plant them in containers of bulb fibre or potting compost with the tip of the bulb just visible above the soil surface. Position them in a cool garage or other well ventilated, dark position at a maximum temperature of 7°C (44°F) for around 6 weeks. Water bulbs only when necessary, in order to keep the compost moist. When the growing shoots reach a height of 3cm (1"), move the containers to a cool bright position indoors. Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
