Description
The HY50 is essentially a freshwater pump and is not suitable for use with seawater or other chemicals as this may cause damage to its internal components. This water pump is the ideal machine to have on standby in case of flooding as it minimises any damage that may be caused to your home or garage. Powered by a 163cc Hyundai IC160 petrol engine which produces 5.5hp, this pump can be used for domestic, commercial and professional pumping applications. It provides a maximum flow rate of 500 litres per minute, allowing you to rapidly transfer large pools of clean water. This impressive pumping power is made possible due to the large 2" (50mm) inlet and outlet. Ideal for use on construction sites, in commercial work and for flood defence where a large transfer of water is necessary. It's designed to be used primarily in fresh water, the HY50 can pump particles up to 7mm in diameter and provides a suction lift of 7m, and a total lift of 30m. Weighing just 24kg, this is a lightweight water pump which is built with transportation and storage in mind. The sturdy open frame protects the pump from knocks and bumps and also functions as convenient carry handles. All Hyundai water pumps are supplied with a Hyundai 3 year platinum warranty.
