The voltage is set automatically according to the USB Power Delivery Specification 2.0 in individual profiles in the following steps: 5 V / 9 V / 12 V / 15 V / 19 V / 20 V with a max. 3 A current consumption. The input voltage of AC 100-240V allows worldwide use. The adapter is also suitable for charging the Nintendo Switch. Via the USB-C connector you can charge the console itself and you can charge Nintendo Joy-Con and Nintendo Switch Pro Controller via USB-A connectors. IMPORTANT NOTE: This adapter is capable to deliver maximum of 80 W. If your connected devices will require more than 80 W the overload protection will be triggered automatically. In that case it is necessary to disconnect at least one device unplug and reconnect the cable to the AC outlet and the adapter will start charging again. If a laptop of 60 W is charged via USB-C we recommend charging only one additional device via the USB-A Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
