Description
Sculptural chain earrings from the collection "Flow" in 18K Gold Vermeil. The Flow collection is inspired by the designers personal creative flow. The pieces was created by carving structure and form from pure silver clay, without a clear plan, trusting her intuition. As the very first collection after several years of pause from creating jewelry, this collection is truly made with love, and a sense of "coming home". The pieces are made to be an extention to the wearers own beauty. The structures are carved to reflect and play with light. All Iselin designs are hand-made in Norway. This item is made of Sterling silver (925) and Pure silver (999), plated with 18K Gold (2, 5 microns). We recommend taking good care of your 18K Gold Vermeil treasures by: - Removing your jewelry before you swim in chlorine or salt water. - Removing your jewelry before participating in activities that will cause you to sweat a lot. - Waiting to put on your jewelry until after you have applied lotion, makeup or perfume. - Removing jewelry if you will be bringing it into contact with something hard. (For example, take off your ring before lifting weights.) - Storing your plated jewelry where it won’t rub against other hard substances (a soft bag—one per piece of jewelry—is ideal). Wipe your gold plated jewelry after each use, using a soft cloth to remove any dirt or debris. You may also soak it for a few minutes in warm, soapy water and dry it with a soft cloth as needed (or a soft toothbrush to clean small cracks and crevices). All Iselin jewelry have a core of Pure Silver (999) or Sterling Silver (925) and are plated with at least 2. 5 microns of 18K Gold. Microns is a measure of the thickness of gold that is deposited to the silver piece. The industry standard is 0, 5-1 microns for Gold Plated jewelry (it must be at least 0, 5 microns to be allowed to be called "Gold Plated"). "Gold Vermeil" (as all our gold plated designs are) has to have a core of precious metal, and have at least 2, 5 microns of gold plating. Due to its thicker gold layer, Gold Vermeil is a very durable option for jewelry pieces.
