Three delightful mismatched good quality cake plates dating to the 1920s & 30s All have complimentary autumnal tones on cream glaze with wavy edging. Ideal for serving cakes & sandwiches for afternoon tea parties. The Royal Doulton plate is in the Temple design with gilded edging & measures 8.5 / 21.5cm in diameter. Pottery marked on base with 1927 impressed date mark. The Alfred Meakin plate is in the rare Dunkirk design with gilding edging & measures 8.75 / 22.5cm in diameter & dates to the 1930s. The Bridgewater plate is decorated with a fruit & flower design with a deep yellow border - Brantwood design - & measures 9 / 23cm in diameter. Some age related crazing. A lovely complimentary set.
