Description
Jasmine polyanthum is a very vigorous, tender evergreen twining climber up to 7.5m tall, with dark green leaves, composed of up to 7 lance-shaped leaflets. It bears masses of very fragrant, long-tubed white flowers 2cm across, that open from pink buds, in panicle-like clusters to 10cm long, from late spring outdoors in frost-free climates, or earlier in the year if grown in a warm greenhouse or conservatory. Try planting near a path for maximum impact, they are also great for trellises, walls and fences. While easy to grow, jasmine need to be protected from frost. This plant is grown on a trellis.
