Grip Tech curved temples and Nose Grip pads keep them securely in place while removable Spandex Shields protect from sunlight entering through the sides of the frame, particularly useful in high altitude terrain. A silicone cord has been included to help keep your glasses safe. Lens: Spectron 3 Polarized – This is a versatile polycarbonate lens for sports and everyday life and uses with a mirrored coating for improved light filtration. The Polarized filter reduces glare from the sun reflecting off surface areas, making it ideal for use around snow and water. VLT: 12% (CAT 3) - Visual Light Transmission, VLT, refers to the amount of light that penetrates a lens. A low percentage means less light passes through and a higher percentage lets an increased amount of light through.
