The Julbo Vermont Classic is a reissue of their original mountaineer glasses which placed the brand firmly on the map when it came to producing technical eyewear. Using a classic round lens and leather side shields they are designed for use in the mountains keeping the harsh elements out and your vision clear. Not only worn by mountaineers they have also been spotted on rock stars and other celebrities! Lens:Spectron 4 – This polycarbonate lens provides the highest level of protection making it well suited for use at high altitudes where the sun is stronger and has a mirrored coating to improve light filtration and reduce glare. *Due to the amount of light filtered out, category 4 lenses are not suitable for driving. VLT:5% (CAT 4) - Visual Light Transmission, VLT, refers to the amount of light that penetrates a lens. A low percentage means less light passes through and a higher percentage lets an increased amount of light through.
