Description
The Excavator is the latest addition to the K2 family. It is designed to explore the entire mountain with hard turns and sharp edges. Backcountry slopes, steep runs and sidehits are its terrain. The Excavator's special topsheet prevents snow from accumulating on it, while the Bambooyahâ„¢ Pro Core provides incredible response and extra edge hold. Riding style All day in the powder, on steep backcountry slopes and icy descents. This freeride board gives you the tools for the ultimate days on the mountain. Shape The directional shape ensures lift for trips out into the powder, offers stability and control and guarantees pop. The taper means the nose is wider than the tail and promotes smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed and enhanced deep snow float. The larger volume in the front area allows you to make effortless turns in deep and soft snow and increases the float enormously. Profile The Excavator comes with a camber under the bindings and a rocker on the nose. You'll enjoy endless lift and not lose much edge hold. The indicated dovetail sinks into the snow and thus offers even more buoyancy. Flex A harder flex guarantees full control in all conditions Construction The Bambooyahâ„¢ Pro Core offers best performance, is extremely durable and made from renewable materials. Carbon Power Forks are struts in the tail that provide extra pop and response. The Biax fibreglass offers minimal torsional flex and a forgiving riding experience. The Carbon Infused Sintered 5500 base absorbs wax deep into the pores and, when properly cared for, ensures the best glide and long durability.
